Mushroom Chanterelle

The life cycles of fungi, even belonging to the same division, are diverse and specific. Therefore, consider the main cycles of development of fungi.

Mushrooms reproduce vegetatively, the mycelium spreads through spores. Fragmentation occurs and cells invisible to the human eye are separated from the mycelium, they scatter over great distances, but always maintain contact with the mycelium of the fungus.

When the spores settle in a new habitat and find nutrients in the soil, a new mycelium begins to form from which the mycelium will grow.

A small fruit body grows, it takes only a few days. If we consider edible species, then it is already ready for assembly, but does not yet have the opportunity to give the following disputes.

Under favorable conditions, the fungus grows rapidly, gains strength and begins to emit spores that will follow the further development of the mycelium. In the first year, the spores settle around the main mycelium, and when the soil is depleted, the fungus directs the spores further to move to a more suitable zone.

Then the life cycle repeats!
